Router configuration

Sent the "Planet" router to SK in the earlier morning when they just open the shop.
Steven configure the WAN for me, he mention the LAN need no configure basically.

He showed me how to set the WAN password.
Testing it, he said it was okay. As I have to fetch the kids and have breakfast with Mr. Wong. So I just left SK, met the kids, and bring Lai to KB market for breakfast.

Met Kok Ming who was with Mr. Wong and Mrs. Wong.
We have breakfast together until 10:00 something.
He brought me some QiGong documents, and ask me to find a VCD in HK, base one of the book. This VCD content is regarding the meditation. A kind of relaxing way.
I promise him to send the info to my HK sister to find it, no rush.

Then the kid and me went to Soon Lee to shop for the extension socket.
This time I want to find a better one. We found a 7 socket which cost B$25.50.

I teached the kid how to plug for this two computer at home.
Then went back to office. I went out again for office worker's lunch.
Back to office and it's about 12:00 noon already.

I didn't took my lunch as I having two breakfast today.

Sent the kid to tuition again at 12:30pm, went to SK. Steven not in, then I wait until he came. He mention the router setting is okay.

I really hope everything is okay when I bring back.

Thanks Buddha it's Friday today.
I think I will have a busiest weekend.

I called the computer shop yesterday morning, tried to mention my router's problem. Miss Carl said the replacement will be in Monday. So I tried to ask Steven, she mention he can configure the router for me as they sold quite a lot of this router.

Then my nehpew told me that "Planet" rounter is a more stable router if compare with other. He read the info from user review. So I have to give this brand name router a chance. The thing is why they didn't reply me when I can problem on their first product.

I always hope the vendor can always have a good response on their product. Like Dell, they really provide a good services although I didn't bought their prodcut yet. Their services really give me good feeling so my next pc or notebook will buy from them for sure.

I love coffee

I love to drink coffee, but I cannot drink too much as I may become a High Blood pressure man. I don't want to take medicine daily so I go to exercise almost daily. Sure that I will lazy when it rain.

Don't be too happy first after you bought a new toy!

Found router brough back yesterday is totally NOT working at all. My niece told me in the earlier morning when I wake up at 5:30am today.

So I buy when you bought a new toy or any stuffs you like, you don't have to be TOO happy first, as you may get angry with it.

I think I will send it back by today to replace a new one.

I starting to dislike this "planet" brand of rounter.

The first one get me problem after one month, the new one even cannot pass the test within one day.

Poor rounter, change it!

Found the 54 Mbytes wireless router faulty the night before.
The speed was getting slower and slower and finally cannot surf to the net.
Called 121 for help and found espeed2 is working okay.
Try to plug in internet modem directly, it worked!
So finally conclusion cause by the wireless router.

Packed into the original box and sent it over to the vendor.
So good that the vendor agreed to change it as it is still under warranty, although it mention only limited warranty. I decided to change a better to 108 Mbytes wireless router. Paid another B$60.00. Okay for the cost.

Rush back home to use this new same brand "Planet" rounter which made in Taiwan. Firstly wrong plug in network cable, but finally solved the problem easily.

Good day as I really hope everyday is good day for me.

Getting better sleep last night

I think my not sleeping well problem is a kind of rountine. It comes and go.
I just recalled the very first of this "sickness" appeared in my life. There was a very hard time to me when I work as a IT Engineer under BSP contract.

Visited the same doctor twice, still cannot solve my problem. I don't think it cause by pressure on that time, and now still sure that this problem is NOT cause any pressure. If there is pressure, may be it is from last life, NOT this life.

Just fall to sleep before dinner last night, too tired as two days not sleeping very well. I was getting "some" sleep, but sure it was NOT a "deep" sleeping. Felt very tired after lunch, very clear mind during the day. Very tired on night time.

I wake up when my nephew asked me to have dinner. After the dinner I just surf to the net, and sms to TChai saying that I am not going to Tang tonight.

Surf and doing some copying and pasting. I went to sleep at around 8:45pm. Wake up again on 9:33pm to watch the TV series until 10:25pm.

Anyway, got better sleep last night. Thanks Buddha! Also thanks to myself.

Went to Bandar today

Went to Bandar today in the afternoon at 12:30pm noon.
Went with Xing to fetch we all welcome man.

Should went at 12:00pm noon but after received the man calling, we went at 12:30pm noon.

We visited Yang who had the car accident on last Wednesday at Tutong. Thanks Buddha everything is okay, he is sound and safe, he stayed one night at BSB hospital for observation and back home the next day.

We arrived KB at 4:00pm.
Xing and me went to tea break as he was not have his lunch today. I felt hungry too as my lunch was at 10:30am.

Arrived home at 5:00pm.

When niece knew I wake up so early, she said" "Crazy".
Yes, I am crazy to find the Compaq which laid there last night and disappeared this morning then I found it was took by my younger brother;he did told me he will come to pick the notebook.

This morning task wask to transfer LG Phone USB driver to my pen drive.

I just use my nephew 1GB pen drive, then I went to my home to take mine own one to transfer again, double work. I just remember that day I search and found this LG Phone CD which came with my new 3G LG U8330/U8330C phone. I starting to love this phone. Nice feature although it have very small internal 64 Mbytes ram. Cannot expand the memory. Cause it is so cheap in HK. HK$1,000.00. I have to take this risk although the dealer said they don't sell second hand phone. I can check the phone a frequent as possible to make it spoil within 7 days, then I can return it to have a new one; but I only have one day to check it! The worse thing that I didn't bring my own mobile phone with me, so cannot check it again and again, full test.

I didn't really full test of this LG phone, but I starting to exploring it's feature. Many new feature to explore. Good phone anyway if you don't expect too mucy!

I have it before and sometime it just happen, the "insomia" will not tell you when it comes near you. So I really cannot stop it come near me sometimes.

I become very sensitive if I found myself cannot sleep well on the second night.

Went to Miri yesterday

Quite long time didn't went to Miri.
About 1~3 months, forgot already. The main purpose of this trip is visit the skin specialist. I have been visited him several times(more than 4 times, I think).

My 2 nephews just like to joined me as I told him I 99.99% confirm will go. The younger nephew 100% confirmed he want to go, the older one just have to wait for some reason.

I listed want to need to do during this Miri trip:

1. visit doctor.
2. Key.
3. MP3 player (I suspected mine old 128 Mbytes China made is faulty)
4. General

I think the younger nephew first thinking is “Pizza Hurt”.

We arrived Miri at 10:20am, a bit delay as we wait for my sister in law who went to KB to work, luckily it’s on our way to Miri.

The first thing was to feed our hungry stomach.
First choice was “2020 café” cause have “dim sam”. Both order two noodle, drinks and I paid money for them. The price was RM$10 for two noodle, 3 drinks for RM$3.60. Then they went to have their ”dim sam” selection. Their dessert “dim sam” charge RM10.60 if I am not wrong.

I felt a bit rush to the doctor place. It’s at 10:40am, I manage to find a car park easily but I found I only have the OLD parking coupon. So they have to wait until I finished visiting the doctor. Lot of patients when I arrived, but I did a booking the day before I arrived. My number is 27 at 11:00pm. It took about one hour for this treatment, consultant charge: RM$97.00, better than the last which cost more than RM100.00(about RM120.00).

Then I knew the younger nephew tried to search for a new parking coupon when I rushed to the clinic, he cannot find any on that area..

Went to Bandar last night.
left office at 4:10pm. Back home at 4:30pm. Took shower and prepaired for Bandar trip. Xing confirmed me in late morning. He told me to fetch me at 5pm, I mention I can make it at 4:45pm, I arrived his house at 4:47pm. Two minutes late, he opened the door instanly and asked me to wait. He find his daughter who played with the dogs just now. I only wait 5 minutes.

We arrived Bandar after one hour. Went to airport directly.
To have dinner with brothers and sisters at 7:45pm. Finished at 9:44pm. We chat happily anyway.

1. Add my Kingston 256 Mbytes ram. Become 512 for the P4 2.0 PC.

Backup using WinXP backup

I tried the WinXp backup feature on my office pc.
I also want to test my portable 80 GB HDD.

So just use to backup All the files.
It required about 1 and a half hours for backing up a 40 Gbytes HDD, all the files, programs and almost all the data on my office computer.

The question is my harddisk is only 40 Gbytes, all my files, documents and programs files is NOT more than 40 GBytes. Why the backup file is go up to near 40 Giga Bytes?

May be my info is wrong, I have to rechecked the file with backup extension again when I back to office.

PC to use

I still got PC to use although my one is faulty.

Nephnew brough back two pc for formattting.
I use one of them, although it was a P4 2.0, 256 Mbytes, GForce 4 5200 PC, but this one seem faster than mine.

I think the motherboard is the main reason, adding a good graphic causing it run faster. Another thing, I think the programs installed also make the pc running fast or slow.

I got too many program on my pc. Too many data and with too many users using one pc.

So have to get rid all the old data to make it faster!

PC Power supply fauty

My PC suddenly shutdown cause no power supply when I came back from outside.

My nephew mention it just stop in the middle of his online game. No power at all and only left the power LCD light. I tried to unplug all the power source and on again. No sign of power at all. So consider power supply unit should be faulty.

This unit is using for 2 years, I think, it may wrong info.
The coincidence is it happen when I just plug in the 256Mbytes 266 Ram/DIMM and the GForce FX-5200 graphic card. It can cause the power supply failure, strange or it is time for the power supply to replaced?

The power supply unit may cost B$45.00, need to do the research again this time for a 450 Watt power supply unit.

Father's day breakfast

Today is father's day, my father was pass away 20+ years ago.

Yesterday my niece invite me to join with his father(my elder brother)for today's breakfast.

It took some time to gather everyone to get ready.
Her father told her to have the breakfast anytime for today, but after he wake up an and her mum told her have to have a bit ealier, so everyone have to wake up a bit ealier cause someone watched the world cup unti 2:00am this morning.

Finished breakfast at around 9:00am.

Investment on my old P4 PC

Finally I manage to bought a 256Mbytes 266Mhz DDR DIMM. Cost B$53.00 and a share power cable at B$3.00. The guy gave me B$50.00 for the 256 Mbytes DIMM ram. I bought it from BIT Computer, I ask the same DIMM on Concept computer, they didn't have the stock and mention have to order from SIngapore at price B$64.00.

They saw me the DDR2 256 Mbytes at price B$53.00. Another computer shop, NetCom also don't have stock for this old DIMM.

I got an old FX-5200 Gforce 4 graphic card from my nephew.
Need to test run for this two "new" hardware kit.
Sure my pc will be a bit faster, but how fast it can goes...I never expected too much as my 2.66 P4 PC got too many program installed. I didn't tried to uninstall some softwares that day. May need to uninstall more.

Return back the faulty 80 Bgytes Harddrive

Went to Bandar today and sent back my faulty(cannot detected) harddrive.
Luckily that the technician not manage to detect my 80 GBytes harddrive this time. They asked me whether can format the harddrive or not, I agreed. Unluckily that all my harddrive data lost, sure for that, I knew this will happen when I bought this harddrive back to them second time. They still cannot manage to detect my harddrive after the formatting.

They checked the invocie when I bought this Samsung harddrive. (this harddrive which I bought on the Bitex exhibiton on March, 2006) Concept computer shop give me 6 month warranty for this harddrive.

Finally they return me a new 80 Gbytes harddrive, and mention the problem could be cause by the harddrive casing, and advice me to buy a new harddrive casing. (The harddrive casing also bought from them anyway.) I don't think the casing have any warranty.

I didn't buy a new casing, I like to test it again.

I am not sure that the 80 Gbytes has been formatted by them or not. I have to try it out anyway.

Accident may occur any time

Accident may occur any time.
I heard two case happen recently.

The latest one is eye accidently hurt by himself and send it to emergency. Luckily the eye is not damage, it only hurt the "white" part of the eye. I found this when came from our chapter. I saw my nephew lay on the bed, the eye is wounded with white cloth then I ask what this will happen. He mention he hurt by himself when he release the "gogle" when swimming, I have swim with him yesterday afternoon after work, but I left earlier.

Another case was happen last week.
Car accident. 3 men with a girl. The drive is no hurt and 2 men and 1 girl was admited to hospital. 3 men was discharge from hospital after 2~3 days. The severse case was the 16 years old girl. She was my "bau bacha" relative.

That day she was gathering with her friend and when her mother want to fetch her, she mention she will back from her friend's car.

So accident happen when she on the way back home. She hitted by the Toyota Prado huge car from the right side, her right hand and right foot was broken. Send to Kuala Belait emergency and admitted to wad instanly.

She felt really weak, she vomit blood after the operation. She felt she going to get away from her mother after the operation night. Her breathing is weak but get into normal stage. Her doctor asked her family to pray for her.

She was getting better after 2 days of operation, but loose blood, she was having blood transfusion. She stayed at the hospital for one whole weeks already, let pray for her full recover quickly.

Maplestory online game

My nephew canot play this Maplestory online game last night.
He mention he did tried several method, upate and scan the viruses, scan antispywares, still the same, cannot play Maplestory online game. The problem is quite strange.

He can login to the account, enter the PIN, select the channels, then the screen brought him out to the desktop.

I use cleanup.exe to clean out the temp files, tried to edit the regedit. Clean out some registry stuffs.

RECOPY the whole game, but NOT install.
He tried to login and play, this time it's working.
I am not sure it is maple story server got problem or my method of cleaning work.
Never mind, he can play the game and he ask me to reformat the harddisk, luckily I didn't format for him.

Spent about half a hour to solve his problem.

Are you crazy for world cup 2006? For me, the answer is no, but it somehow effected me.
I knew where to check the score which on http://livescore.com for latest result.

I just pass by when my brothers watching the match. It not really 100% effected me at all I still can watch my favorites TV series which is on earlier time before the world cup matches. I still surfing, doing my web page and regular work.

I did chat with other for world cup. I didn't gambling for world cup. I just stay aside to monitering other to watch world cup.

Get into Google's reader web page accidently. I always like to read information page. I surf one blog and found this got some good information on his blog. So I tryied to firgure what this information came from.

I surf and checked and found Google reader web page.
Quite interesting information page. Basically the information is not came from Google itself, mostly the information web page is from the web itself which submit to Google.com.

The diiferent things is you can read what you have marked and share it to your friends, and use it in your web page or blogs.

Still exploring it. Oh, yes, you need a gmail account then you can starting to marked interesting news, informations you want.

Need to check the 80 HDD again

Need go to Bandar to check the 80 HDD again.
Found cannot detected again.

I did try to send to Bandar to check and the technician mention it cause by the loose of the slot, and screwing it.

It only detected once after bring back.

Tried to detected again, and it made my nephew's and my pc hanged.
I uplug it and pc release the hanged and freeze. I think this harddisk has some problme.

Thinking to buy a notebook

Received emails from dell.com.my, their advertising attracted me thinking to buy a notebook.
The price is attracting anyway. RM$3,314 for a Pentium Duo Core, 60 Gb HDD, DVD burner. I have been doing the research for this Duo Core PC quite sometime, and found it attracting me, but I think I will buy right now. May be I don't REALLY need right now. So still doing the researching again and again, thinking IF I buy, which one is my choice.

To buy a notebook is a luxury thing to me, so have to make a HUGE decision to buy a good one. Another brand also keep into my eye, Toshiba, but what I want is the service support. Dell get the best, I think. Acer may be the worse. Dell promise they can fix any problem within 3 days. This is what I want. Other manufacters I really not sure have this kind of services of not.

Found and solved blog paragraph problem

This morning I try to find for help for my blog paragraph problem. Found blogger help group on google. I post it last night for my problem and found got one reply this morning, it cannot solve my problem.

I try to surf back to the blogger google group help again in the afternoon, found another reply.
This time it really help. Just the setting problem only. I remember that day I did some setting and forget this setting will cause the paragraph problem.

So happy to see my blog got back paragraph again. Thanks for the blogger goolge help group .

Too many fan for a pc cause problem

I found some strange thing happen to my nephew's pc.
As his pc cannot surf for some time although he tried to reformat this harddrive that day. Just can surf for one(1) minutes then disconnected!

Today as I want to transfer data from one harddrive to another harddrive, so I try to use his pc for transfer the data. What I found his pc have TOO MANY fan(4). So I unpluged two of them, found the pc can surf smoothly with no problem at all.

The internet surfing is cause by too many fan on a PC? Too many fan cause the broadband down although I did check the connection is idle.

I remembered that day one pc technician told me that the power supply problem. Some pc cannot connect too many harddrive(he mention may spoil the harddrive), depend what power supply unit you have. So I think for this FAN problem on my nephew's pc, but it cause the pc cannot surf to the internet is quite strange to me.

Try to change here and there for blogger template.
Suddenly found that the new template change the format of my paragraph. Became no paragraph, so I try to change back the previous template. Same problem, no more paragraph.

Try to edit the page, found my page on edit mode is okay, all the paragraph is there, don't know why the paragraphs is not show when post!

May need to get help from blogger help.

I suppose need to go to watch basket ball last night as my nephnew have match last night, but I promise the chapter to practice the praying, so I did not not go.

Mich didn't anyswer my sms and phone. I sms him in the morning, and tried to call him at night, no answer. Where is he? I don't know.
Finaly get Mich sms, saying he is run out of hp credit, waiting his boss to pay his wages.

Get back to QiGong practice these days. Sometime practice the whole 5 steps, sometime only 3 step, got practice better than no practice.Just knew that my friend is retired earlier, she just quit

Found one of the office shop I always visited is closed. I didn't read properly of what the government notice saying. It's just closed. May be I have to read carefully the notice again.

Kill Computer viruses and spywares!!!

Today task is to check and try to kill and destroy all the viruses and spywares on friend's PC. This PC having the problem to surf the net. Sad to said that I found this pc USB port is faulty, intermetent problem, on and off, So hard to repair this kind of PC.

Too many viruses and spyware need to kill and it also having problem when try to access internet.

Norton antivirus program cannot run. I try two different version still cannot run.
So I have to try using other antivirus program. I try to use Avast antiviru program, hope this one can run on this PC. Running the scanning when starting WinXP, found at least 10 Trojan virues. Mainly attacked .exe files and some others files. Cannot repaired, so have to move it to quarantine. Hope this can help and no need to format the Hard drive.

The antispyware program found more than 200 spywares on this PC. Found 66 again after updating the antispyware definations files.

Checking and killing virues is a hard and tired task. You have to waste lot of time on it. So my nephnew just format the harddrive instead of healing it.

Checking your body fat

Today went to KB for medical checking. Free of charge, arrange by Brunei Government Kuala Belait Suri Seri Hospital.

Went with SPY at 1:35am.
Finished the test at around 2:20pm.
My result is not so bad, as my fat is reduce compare with last time, my weight is 73.8 KG, BMI=25.8, a bit overweight but as the fat is reduce, so the weight is acceptable, but if reduce one or two KG, it will be perfect.

Read the newspaper saying that if one person starting to concern their healthy, then their age should be at middle age. Good thing I starting to concern my health a bit earlier. May be my family history required me to concern my healthy. Good thing I starting my rountine exercise quite frequent. Better keep it and cannot be too lazy to exercise.

Went to Bandar today

Went to Bandar today cause I want to fix my 80 GB Harddrive problem.
Started at 8:20am, arrived there at around 9:20am, one hour journey. Leng is driving the car. As Ying want to buy MP3 player, so she also came with us. Leng fetch his GF at Kampong Rimba, just on the way to Gadong.

Arrived Concept computer at around 9:40am. Fix my HDD problem within 10~15 minutes. The shop assistant mention there is exhibition at the Mall, so we decided go to the Mall. Ying finally decided to buy the Creative MP3, 1 Gbytes at price B$199.00, one year warranty. Model: MuVo V200.

Nice outlook, small and it is also a USB 2.0 flash drive, easy to use.

Finally get the password to login

Communiced with nephew at Austrilia last night, manage to login to one of the account which under me, but cannot login to his another account which under him. He forgot the password to login and even forgot he did changed the password. So I tried to email to GiiCorp support team, to tell this reason to them. I sent the email in the morning.

I received reply from GiiCorp support team in the afternoon today. Felt great then I can managed to login to the account.

So I quickly sms to my nephew, told him I did it.
I have to do one more login for the annual fee, will do it within today.

Payment for GiiCorp

Paid GiiCorp.com anual fee last night for my download - Fatt, Fatt1, Geak, but only manage to login to one account, so only one account is been paid at the moment. The other two I need to contact my downloads for more info. Their system is quite secure and they do recognised the user emails when they subscriped.

Need to try it out today again.

I done mine one last month and the expired date will be 9th July, 2007.
I also did help my first download line on last weekend.

Time can change everything

Time can change so many things. Like friendship, if they are not communication or did not contact each others for long long time, then their friendship will become not so close, and worse come to worse, their friendship just like nothing at all, or may be they are not able to meet again in their whole life.

Time change too many things, like spending money. It comes and gone. We earn the money for living and we spent it using our own way. We really got what we have on spending the money?

Time really can change lot of things. Like our body. We are will getting older and olger, no one can stop it, even God or Buddha. The best thing of getting old is our life experience. We get lot of human being various kind of experience which the younger don't have.

When you getting older, you will feel that time passing too fast. When it arrived at Friday, and you will say "Hey, why it is so fast today is Friday", when year after year, then I ask you to look over the period when you are 18, then you really can feel time is not waiting for us. We cannot hear the ticking sound of the clock, it just keep going and will never stop.

So just do what you have to do, not do the thing you just want to do. Thinking to do something just want to do may be not a good sign, why? Just our thinking sometime not really positive enought to do thing just come across our mind. Think it twice or think it over and over when you have to make a important decidion.

Just bought a DVD writer

Just bought a DVD writer. BenQ, don't tell me this one is a worse one, at B$79.88.
Cheap and hope it can last longer than the previous one which only last one year plus ONLY.

The problem of the old one firstly is cannot eject, then I try to pull out the drawer using the long pin. It's can eject but I heard noisy sould after I pluged it again, and it cannot read any CD at all. So Have to buy a new one anyway.

Will meet Bok this afternoon as I did call him this morning when he still in sleeping mood. I felt a bit sorry with that. I just didn't have time to ask the one who picked the phone he is still sleeping or not.

He will be busy today according to him, but we can meet at 1~2pm this afternoon.

Expect to meet him urgently, may be I have something to tell him, or may be we are not meet for so time. Lot of stories to tell each other.

Go to swim

I don't know how to swim actually, but try to learn how to swim. So I cannot say I didn't go to swimming for sometime. I really forget when it is the last time I went to Mumong swimming pool, may be a year ago.

Loong is the one who suggested went to swimming at first, so Spy and Ang also want to join in.
They went by themselves, and I joined them after when I was on the way back home.

Arrived there at around 4:30pm, try to learn how to swim. Spy's friend Patrick tried to teach her how to swim, I tried to learn by myself. May be cause by the "face" problem, so I learn myself.

Spy left first at around 5:20pm, and we swimmed until 6:00pm. A good start try how to swim again. Oh yes, it raining during the time we are swim, but it stopped after 15 minutes. Good that the rain was stopped, as when it became heavy rain, then the swimming administrator will request all the swimmer to leave.

BeiJing trip may postpone

Due to Henry decided not to go with me, so my BeiJing trip may be postpone. I am not really confirm yet whether I will go or not to go. As my try my another Dharma brother, he also don't want to go. So may be I have to call the travel agent to check what is the status of this trip.

That day the travel agent told me that may be they are not enough people to form a group for this trip, but if there is 8~10 people, surely they will go. Their target is 16 people.

So may be I go or may be I am not going. Not sure yet at this moment. I also thinking to invite Ying, but strange that my mind keep on saying she 100% will not going, why? As I can felt she may have something to do during this period.

Finally solved all my GiiCorp.com problem

May be I criticize too fast for the GiiCorp.com response.
May be I misundertook their meaning, may be I miss something when sent email to them to complain my login problem.

After several emailing here and there, my problem is solved.
May be it was my fault to criticize to fast as I didn't mention properly what is my problem. As GiiCorp have many websiter for their partner to login, so I miss out the one I want.

Finally, all the login problems is solved. Happy what they did and thanks what they did for me. So this is a good experience again for me NOT to critiize any problem too fast!
