1.很多時候，需要暫時離開座位去做別的事情，如果對自己的電腦安全很重視，不妨按住windows鍵後，再按L鍵，這樣電腦就直接鎖屏了，這樣就不用擔心電腦的資料外泄啦

Free File manager replacement

I found my Windows Vista explorer always hanged and cannot run stable most of time, so let me tried to find a file manager which also cannot support viewing the Chinese character. Just found this one:

Found this Chinese Cantonese IME input accidently  as my friend got a crash in Windows Explorer and Chrome when input Chinese characters.

The special thing was this Chinese IME input have the Cantonese version which uses jyutping as input.
I downloaded but cannot install on my home PC which have Chinese IME 2010, this may cause it cannot be installed.

Today decided to solve my office PC problem which always appear "windows can't check for updates".

Tried to do a Google search "windows can't check for updates vista solution".

Found the official Microsoft onecare website: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-US/center/howsafe.htm?s_cid=mscom_msrt then I started to follow the instruction, downloaded a small program first, then starting to do the FULL scanning. Oh, I didn't knew that it took so long to do the scanning. From about 8:30am scanning until now 1:00pm, it just scanning 17%, so I think it will took the whole day to do the FULL scanning.

It detected two items, 2 issues found, just wonder what it was as it screen display did not tell me what it was:

Actually it was a quick scanning, but for safe side, I prefer to do the full scanning.

I am not sure it will finished before 4:00pm or not, or else I have to click cancelled button.

Anyway, hope this method can solved my PC problem, will reported the result when I am free.

They don't have to take over your account to cause those messages, your email account is probably still safe.

They are probably just using your email address when they fake the 'from address' in the spam they're sending.

Chinese input for LG GM730

It's been a long time that I cannot input Chinese characters for my LG-GM730 touch screen mobile phone. Which make me so crazy to do the internet searching for the result.

Go almost all the LG support and they cannot gave me any solution.
I really disappoint for their support and their poor web site which cannot submit my problem. Always gave me error web page. It last for several months that I cannot get the solution.

1. Surf to http://www.lg.com.
2. Select your region and your country.
3. Select support. Select Mobile Phone support.
4. On "Download LG Mobile Support Tool to PC", click download
5. Follow the web page instruction.
4. Connect your mobile phone to your PC.
6. Install the USB driver.
7. Click "start updating" after installing USB driver.

Wait until finish for the software updating.
Your mobile phone will restart and new Windows Mobile was installed.

Remember to backup everything before doing the above updating.

The first step is finished. This installation is for your mobile phone to fully support Chinese characters.

Acer desktop computer black out

I found my office desktop computer id black out, no "bi" sound. Power off and on again, it only show Acer logo bios, then dead again.

Unplugged all the cables, thinking to sent it to computer shop for repairing.

Came office today and tried to plug in the power. I heard the "bi" sound again, good!

So, I plugged all the cable, on it. Then it's okay.
